Dynaton CubiQ Control
The CubiQ Control is really smart Modular Line Level Amplifier that is the Central Point in the innovative Dynaton CubiQ Series. It is a close companion to all the other CubiQ Products as it performs the mission of being your Control Unit where you select your Movie or Music Input Source and adjust the level to your preferences on the Volume Control.
One of the many smart things about the CubiQ Control is that you yourself decide whether it is going to be a High-End Stereo Control Amplifier or a Home Cinema Control Amplifier with support of 8 Audio Channels of the Highest Standards in Sound Quality. You can select the Quality of your Input and Output Sound Modules as you prefer!
This makes CubiQ Control to – probably the World’s first – truly modular High-End Audio Control Amplifier.
Note: The CubiQ Control can in fact also be used as a stand-alone Audio Purist Preamplifier but you will get the benefits of Truthful Sound when combined with CubiQ RoomIE, more Input Sources with the CubiQ Selector and High-End Sound Quality for your Turntable with the one of CubiQ RIAA preamplifiers.
High-End Stereo Control Amplifier
The CubiQ Control is the Central Point in any High-End Stereo System and can be used as stand-alone – but you will of course have the benefits of Truthful Sound when connected to the CubiQ RoomIE.
We think that the CubiQ RoomIE is a “must have” as it lifts your entire Stereo System’s audible performance to a significantly higher level – regardless of price, brand and type!
To control your Stereo you can choose between the Dynaton Add-On Modules and configure your CubiQ Control to match your personal preferences. So you can choose a High-Performance Sound Module or you can choose a High-End Sound Module as you please – but perhaps more important: If you decide to change the configuration of your CubiQ Control this is done simply by replacing the Add-On Modules.
Another cool thing about CubiQ Control is that it can support more than just regular 2.0 Stereo. In combination with CubiQ RoomIE you can also enjoy 2.1 Stereo and 2.2 Stereo in unsurpassed Truthful Sound.
Note: Support of 2.1 Stereo and 2.2 Stereo requires a Multichannel Output Module to be installed in your CubiQ Control and connection to a CubiQ RoomIE.
High-Performance Home Cinema Control Amplifier
It you need a High-Performance Home Cinema Control Amplifier then the CubiQ Control is also the answer!
You can mount 8-channel High-Performance Audio Inputs and 8-channel High-Performance Outputs instead of the Stereo Modules. This means that the CubiQ Control can support any Surround Sound 5.1, Surround Sound 6.1 and Surround Sound 7.1 as well as Dolby TrueHD.
Note: The CubiQ Control does not have a build-in Dolby/DTS Decoder so the support is for Analog High-Performance Sound. To connect your Movie Sources digitally to the CubiQ Control you need a CubiQ Selector – and to configure your Movie Source to uncompressed LPCM output for the best Sound Quality. For Truthful Sound you also need the CubiQ RoomIE.

Instead of an oldfashioned Remote Control Unit the CubiQ Control features your SmartPhone as Remote Control… Yes, you simply download an Android, iOS(Apple) or Windows App to your SmartPhone and then you can perform all things that you want directly on your Smartphone. The clever thing is that you hence easily can upgrade your Remote Control’s functionality simply by upgrading the SmartPhone App – and we also think that many will agree that it is in fact nice not to have yet another (normally nor very pretty) oldfashioned Remote Control Unit laying around amongst the many others…
If you are a true Audio Purist then you can replace the CubiQ Standard power-supply unit with a Low-Noise CubiQ PSU Plus that will give you just that little extra Sound Quality that raises your CubiQ to the next level. With a little basic skills you can configure the CubiQ Selector yourself but you can also have your local distributor or local retailer do it for you. We recommend to consider letting your local distributor or local retailer assist in the personalization of your own CubiQ Selector as this secures that your Product Warranty is not jeopardized in any way.
Still there is more benefits: All CubiQ Series Products has an Expansion Bus so you can interconnect different CubiQ Series Products and avoid having a mess of cables. You can of course also choose to use your favorite Interconnects in a traditional way. You are in control with the CubiQ Selector!
How should Your CubiQ Control look?
It is not only the functions and features that you can control with Dynaton CubiQ Series Products. You can also decide how your personal CubiQ Selector should look!
As default you can choose Black/Silver or White/Silver – and if you have more Dynaton CubiQ Series Products you can stack them horizontally or vertically as you please. You simply move the Expansion Bus Slot between Bottom Mount or Rear Panel Mount to hide interconnections if you do not like to see the cables (but you can of course continue using your favorite Interconnect Cables as you please).
If you want to go for an even more personal look you can buy Dynaton CubiQ Trimmings that can change the main chassis to a lot of different colors. So you are always in control with Dynaton CubiQ also when it comes to the Look and Feel of the product.
By the way, you may have noted that the CubiQ Control has two rotary dials instead of the “normal” push buttons on the Front Panel. This is because we think that you should be able to control the Volume of your music and movies directly on the CubiQ Control as well as from your Smartphone App. Apart from the dials the CubiQ Control is 100% identical to all other Dynaton CubiQ Series Products.
